My aim is for everyone to have a great time and to feel relaxed and comfortable! I hope that you enjoy every second, as much as I love taking and editing the photos.
I would like to get to know you and your pets; learning about who you are and what you love.
When choosing locations, we can discuss ideas you may have in mind, but also where you and your horse or dog will feel comfortable and happy. With dogs, we can go on a favourite dog walk, or even in the garden and around the home. With your horse we can find good spots on your yard or we can venture out to other venues if that is what you would like!
I recommend bringing a couple of outfits to add variety to your shoot. It is up to you what you would like to wear, whether thats casual and comfortable or trying something a bit new and exciting, whatever makes you feel good! I am of course on hand prior to and on the day, to help with outfit planning if you would like some guidance!
The weather can be unpredictable, and this is of course taken into account, if the weather is really unfavourable, we will rearrange, but also if you are wanting to experiment in some of the more adverse weather conditions and feeling up for something really different, I am up for the challenge too!

FAQ's
What if my pet isn't behaving?
No worries if your pet is showing it's cheeky side! This can make for some great photos, that really show their character! But as well as this, we will do everything we can beforehand to ensure your pet is as comfortable as possible in order to hopefully keep them calm and so that they are enjoying themselves! When we have a before shoot chat we can talk about locations and timings that you think work best for yourself and your pet, so avoiding feed times or turnout times! I always have a few treats and tricks up my sleeve to use to try and keep their attention!
How do I make sure my pet stays focused and looks where I want them to/ has their ears forward?
I have a few tools and tricks I can use to try and keep their attention and to get them focused on the camera but also some of the shots where you and your furry friend aren't focused are sometimes some of the best!
I'm worried my horse will run off if I take off its headcollar for a natural photo?
Have no fear, if we aren't in a secure location and you are worried about losing your horse, we don't have to take off their headcollars. This is something I can sort in post-production, so if you have a thin headcollar this is what I'd recommend.
What if the weather isn't what I had planned for?
British weather can change in a heartbeat! If on the day of the shoot, things aren't what you had hoped for, we can reschedule for another date and time that suits you, with no extra charge! However, if you are feeling bold and looking for something totally different, I am willing to brave any weather to try and get some really unique shots!
What if last minute I can't make my photoshoot?
Life is unpredictable as are animals, and they seem to be great at being unavailable when you need them most! Should your pet be injured or sick on the date of the shoot, we can rearrange to another date and time that suits you totally free of charge (The first change is free of charge, a second change may incur a small fee)
Do I have to be in the photos?
There is no requirement for you to be in the photos, should you just want your pet to be centre stage, that is fine! However, if you would like yourself or another family member to be in any that is also fine! I can also try and take some sneaky ones of you and your pet when you aren't expecting it as sometimes these moments can be extra special!

Deposits

All photoshoots require a 20% deposit to secure the booking, if this is not paid, the shoot will not be confirmed, the remainder must be paid prior to the shoot beginning. You may pay for the whole shoot in full, at the time of booking should you wish.
Damages Liability

You assumes all responsibility for any damages to property or persons caused by yourselves, or your animals/children etc during the shoot.
Copyright and Creative use

When purchasing digital prints, you will receive limited copyright, allowing you to share and print the images for personal use. I hold full and complete title to the content created. Redistribution, resale or alteration of said content is prohibited.
Credit for Work

I would appreciate that when purchased images are used on social media etc, that myself and my website or social media pages are mentioned or tagged in the photo or caption.
Use of images

I reserve the right to use any of the photos on my social media platforms, website and for advertising or publicity, unless specified in writing from you. I will not sell on any photos from personal shoots, without asking for permission from you.
Travel

Mileage may be added to the price of the shoot, this will be at 45p per mile outside of a 45 mile radius of Hemel Hempstead, however in some circumstances travel may be included in the price.
